Dimensioning of the Internal and External Carrying Capacity

Internal Carrying Capacity

External Carrying Capacity

Calculation Example

Calculation Example and Data

Load Transfer Length, L, of Piles

from the external carrying capacity of the grout body

Diameter, D, of Grout Body

D = 1.5 * d = 0.14 m

1.5 = enlarging (reaming) factor for sand
d = 0.09 m, drill bit diameter

Anti floating, securing a concrete foundation with TITAN injection piles:

  • Design Load: Fw = 270 kN
  • Medium dense Sand ->
    Safety Factor S = 2 to DIN 4128

Material:

  • TITAN injection piles 40/10
    internal carrying capacity
    Fperm = 306 kN > Fw = 270 kN
    cross cut bit of 90 mm (0.09 m) diameter
